One of the most popular family attractions in the Lake District Trotters World of Animals started with a birthday present for director Charles Graves in the form of a Long Horn Cow from his sister and wife!! And so Katherine came to our Estate and the concept of Trotters World of Animals, a family attraction in the Lake District, was born.
Since that time this Lake District attraction has evolved from a farm park into a wildlife park and conservation of endangered animals is at the forefront of our ethos. A continual expansion and improving aims to provide the animals with an enrichment programme to stimulate them within their environment. Our full time education officer welcomes many schools from kindergarten to secondary in an informative way educating children to the importance of our planet and the animals that live on it.
