A special day requires a special place. At Armathwaite Hall we understand this well. This striking 17th century former stately home set in 400 acres of delightful grounds on the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake could not be any more special whatever the season. From the delicate scents and scenery of a budding spring to the glory of a Lakeland summer, the rich auburns and golds of autumn to the majesty of snow capped winter fells and mountains. Surely nowhere offers such a breathtakingly romantic backdrop.
Coming Soon....
March 2009 will see the opening of our new Broad Water Suite situated within our new spa development. The function room will seat up to 150 guests and will have stunning views across the gardens with floor to ceiling windows running two lengths of the room. Fully air conditioned with state of the art sound system, dance floor and bar this will be the ultimate in luxury. Huge glass doors will open onto a private terrace for those balmy summer nights for guests to spill out and enjoy the Lake District evenings. This will give us the opportunity to host wedding breakfasts later in the day followed by an evening function.
